quip Perks Program Terms

These terms govern your membership in the quip Perks program (the "Program") and all purchases applied to, credited to, or associated with your use of the Program. These Program terms wholly incorporate quip nyc’s Terms and Conditions, including without limitation the “MANDATORY ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER.”  If you wish to no longer participate or disagree with any changes to these terms, please cancel your Program membership.


Program Overview
The Program is another way for quip nyc ("we" or "our" or “quip”) to celebrate and reward our loyal customers. By participating, members ("you") may be rewarded with valuable quip account credits and surprises ("quip Perks").  


Authorization and Permission
By enrolling in the Program, you authorize quip nyc, its affiliates and partners to communicate marketing and company information to you. Communications may include (but are not limited to) marketing emails, direct mail, and special communications about upcoming offers and promotions. Further, you agree to all terms listed in our privacy policy here. 


Changes to the Terms
These Program terms supersede all previous terms and conditions applicable to any quip benefits program, including quip+. All Program quip Perks, offers, rewards, credits, and services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to change, modify, cancel, add or remove any or all of the terms, policies, FAQs, or guidelines pertaining to the Program at our discretion and at any time. If any terms change, we will let you know by posting an update to https://www.getquip.com/pages/quip-perks with the most recent modification date. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revision. Any such changes will not apply to any claim brought prior to the date on which we posted the revised terms incorporating such changes or otherwise notified you of such changes. By continuing to participate in the Program, you agree to the revised terms.


Program Enrollment
The Program is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of registration. You are automatically enrolled in the Program when you subscribe to any product.  A description of the Program and Program basics is at https://www.getquip.com/pages/quip-perks .  One membership is allowed per email address, and customers may have more than one subscription item per email. 


Earning and Receiving quip Perks
We will offer quip Perks based on your subscription charges. The Program is designed to reward you for being a subscriber of more items and/or for being a long-time subscriber. To receive quip Perks in the Program, you must subscribe for automatic refills to a quip product and maintain, at minimum, one active subscription with quip.  


Earning quip Perks is limited to your purchase activity on getquip.com, excluding purchases of gift cards.  Quip products purchased at any retail store or other online site will not be eligible for quip Perks.  You will earn quip Perks on the date your subscription refill is purchased and checkout is complete. The amount of individual quip Perks will be based on how many consecutive refill orders you have had.  The number of consecutive orders you complete is referred to as “Streaks.” In the case of multiple subscriptions, the Streak count will increase by the number of full subscriptions you hold under a single email address.


The value of the quip Perk awarded at the time of an order will be based on how many consecutive Streaks you have. The escalation will be as follows:


  • Streak 1 (first Streak as part of the Program): 7.5% of eligible merchandise subtotal in credit
  • Streak 2: 10%
  • Streak 3: 12.5%
  • Streak 4: 15%
  • Streaks 5-9: 17.5%
  • Streaks 10+ in perpetuity: 20%

New subscribers may also receive bonus credits for activation of a subscription in addition to the Streaks outlined above.  This amount is subject to change and at the discretion of quip.


The amount of quip Perks available is based on your total subscription charge exclusive of shipping and taxes


Redeeming quip Perks

quip Perks may not be redeemed for taxes, shipping, or purchases of gift cards or for purchases of quip products other than on getquip.com.  quip Perks in your account may be used to purchase other products, refills, and accessories on getquip.com such as a Travel Cover or a Refresh Bag. quip Perks may also be used for future refill orders within your active subscription plan. 


Please carefully review each quip Perk when it is issued to you. You may review your current quip Perks by logging into your subscription account page on www.getquip.com where your “eligible to redeem” quip Perks balance will be displayed. Eligible quip Perks will also appear each time you check out of your shopping cart on getquip.com, where you can use them on your current order. You are notified via email when the quip Perk is added to your account.


quip Perks have no cash value, and are not transferable. No quip Perk or discount will be refunded at any time. Unless noted otherwise on the quip Perk itself, quip Perks can be combined with any other discount or sale price. Quip Perks expire 12 months from the issuance date or upon cancellation of all quip subscriptions (whichever comes first), and unused quip Perks do not roll over into the next 12 month period for use.  When quip Perks are issued, additional terms, conditions and restrictions may be disclosed, including but not limited to expiration or combining quip Perks with other offers or discounts. 


Subscription Cancellation 

You may cancel your subscription and your participation in the Program at any time.   -As long as you maintain an active quip subscription plan, your earned quip Perks are maintained and available for redemption until their applicable expiration dates.  Cancellation of all quip subscriptions will result in termination of quip Perks in your account.


We may cancel your Program membership at any time for any reason in our sole discretion including, but not limited to, our determination that you (1) are ineligible, (2) violated any term or condition of the Program or any applicable law or regulation, or (3) engaged in any deception, forgery, fraud, or committed any other abuse of the Program. We may revoke some or all of your quip Perks if we determine that you received a quip Perk due to an error, through fraud or deception, or in any manner not authorized. Prior subscribers who wish to rejoin the Program will be reset as if it were a new subscription.


Member Privacy Policy 


Except as otherwise provided in these terms, quip’s privacy policy and standards will apply to information you provide through the Program. 


Release, Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Program, you release quip nyc, and affiliated entities, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and other expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees) relating to participation in the Program, use of quip Perks or agreement to these terms.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QUIP NYC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, WITH RESPECT TO THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING THOSE RELATED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT AND THOSE ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE, OR TRADE). TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QUIP NYC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING FOR THE INDIRECT LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, OR DATA) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM, HOWEVER CAUSED, AND UNDER WHATEVER CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY BROUGHT (INCLUDING UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT THEORY OF LIABILITY) EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.


Applicable Law
Both you and quip nyc agree these terms evidence a transaction in interstate commerce and that the Federal Arbitration Act and applicable federal law (or in the absence of applicable federal law, then the laws of the state of New York, without regard to any conflict of laws principles) apply to these Terms and Conditions and all purchases applied to, credited to, or associated with your use of the Program.  Quip’s main Terms and Conditions, including without limitation the “MANDATORY ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER” are incorporated by reference.

General
quip nyc is not responsible for communication problems of any kind, including distribution of quip Perks, due to a change of email address or other changes in contact information. Under no circumstances will quip nyc be held liable for any delay or failure in performance due in whole or in part to any acts of nature or other causes beyond its reasonable control. If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, then that provision will be deemed severable from these terms and will not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions. The failure of quip nyc to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not prevent quip nyc from enforcing such right or provision in the future. Quip nyc may assign its rights and obligations under these terms, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or equity, or by operation of law.
